I’ve put together my Rome recommendations in one private Google Map — the same one I use on my own trips — so you don’t have to jump between blog posts, screenshots, and bookmarks while you’re there.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why this map vs. free options?

Sure, you can use my travel resources for free… But you end up digging through blog articles and Instagram posts. Then you piece together your own list, which is fine for reading, but not for moving around.

I built my travel pins for Google Maps to fix that. I’ve done the work for you: saved all my favorite spots worth visiting and organizing them directly in Google Maps, ready for your phone.

Will the map stay up to date?

Yes.

  • I keep improving and updating all of my travel guides. Every time I discover a great new spot, I add it.
  • I also do quarterly reviews to make sure everything stays sharp and relevant.

So your map is always practical, accurate, and growing—for you to have the best experience.

Can I access it offline?

While Google Maps needs an internet connection to show the latest content, there’s a simple workaround to make sure your map stays useful offline:

  1. Download the region you’re traveling to in Google Maps before your trip.
  2. While online, save the spots from the guide you’re most interested in (add them to your own list or mark them as favorites).

This way, even if you lose signal, you’ll still see your saved places and can navigate to them. Once you’re back online, all the live info—like hours, reviews, and photos—will refresh automatically.

Pro Tip: For the best experience, I recommend getting an eSIM before your trip so you always have a reliable connection. AirAlo is my favorite eSIM that I use on all of my trips.

Travel feels better when the planning is already done.
